Night photography is one of the most amazing experiences and most beloved genres of photography. During its history, photographers have engaged with the night and the interplay of light and darkness.
A metropolitan city like Berlin – with its distinct urban environment, historical buildings, modern architecture, water and bright colours – offers a vast amount of interesting and sometimes abstract images. The experience of a city is different at night. Things disappear in the dark; other things appear in bright light.
